My colourful abstract paintings explore the elemental energy of water and earth, referencing rivers and land. My process involves layering paint, collage, drawing and texture combining to create a composition that speaks to me in some way. It is an intuitive process, often hard to articulate in words. My inspiration is the land - the layers of earth, trees, rocks, rivers and history - and I endeavour to create a new world reassembled from these disparate parts.
